SB9 Heartbeat Bill Passed on Senate Floor, 31-6. See Roll Call here. Abby Johnson, left, testified. She spoke boldly to remind the Planned Parenthood, ACLU people and other opponents there that they can find better work and renew their minds to think normally about life.

HB5 No abortion for discriminatory reasons - based on sex, race, color, national origin, or disability. Has been reassigned to the Public Protection Committee*, which easily passed SB9 to the Senate Floor for a vote. * (Full committee name is: House Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committee) SB50 Require a report of dispensing a prescription for RU-486 …or any other drug …intended to end a pregnancy to the Vital Statistics Branch within 15 days after the end of the month. Margie M. is with Sen. Matt Caslen, sponsor of the Heartbeat Bill. H148 Ends abortion - if and when Roe v. Wade is overturned by SCOTUS or states are once again authorized to prohibit abortion. Passed out of committee to the House Floor for a vote, Rep. Mary Lou Marzian proposed an amendment, to read: All women who are Kentucky residents, and of child bearing age, shall acquire a signed and notarized statement from a practitioner licensed pursuant to this chapter each month that states whether she is pregnant or not pregnant. If pregnant, the signed and notarized statement shall provide the status of the pregnancy. The woman shall submit the signed and notarized statement to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services each month. Any woman who fails to provide this monthly signed and notarized statement to the cabinet shall be subject to arrest and fines..." etc We don't believe the amendment will be incorporated...
