We believe that the
Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act is the most important bill of the 2019 U.S. Legislative Session. We must CLOSE the flood gates on the slippery slope to the practice of infanticide.
But then, what is the difference between aborting a child at 20 and 40 weeks? Practically speaking we are only looking at a bigger baby. “So stop acting shocked.” That is what it seems the Democrats are saying to us. "It’s not a big deal."
They have a terrible point, but our work is to overturn Roe v. Wade and until then, to push BACK the number of weeks at which abortion is legal.
Today in Kentucky that number is 20 weeks and that’s two fewer than it was before Gov. Bevin took office. The “Pain Capable” law achieved that milestone. If the “Heartbeat” law that was passed this spring is adjudicated to take effect following current ACLU litigation, that number will drop to 8 weeks or fewer.
The Democrats control the U.S. House and have refused to vote
32 TIMES on the bill to stop infanticide and provide medical treatment for babies who survive abortions. National RTL is working hard to find enough members who will sign a discharge petition so that the bill can be voted on, but at this time, it does not look promising. Take a moment to visit
