A special outreach to students across Kentucky has been underway since last autumn, led by KRLA Asst. Dir. Dr. Brian Shoemaker. Slowly but surely a Kentucky Teens for Life Coalition (KyTLC) is building!
Brian’s recent trips to Lexington, Somerset and Ashland, along with continual efforts in Louisville, have brought in more outstanding youth.
Contacts have also been made via correspondence from Monticello, Paintsville, Oneida, Covington, Richmond, and Corbin.
Currently 32 students are planning a meeting to discuss a Youth Summit scheduled for Autumn 2018 where they will hear first-hand from Kentucky legislators. Our hats are off to Brian and our future leaders.
