Dismemberment Trial Update

In roughly three weeks the transcript for the Trial will be available. Judge Joseph McKinley ordered the Plaintiffs, EMW Women’s Surgical Center, PSC, et al, and the Defendants, Adam W. Meier, et al, ( Who is Adam W. Meier? see below) to file post-trial briefs within 45 days of the filing of the complete transcript. So, assuming the transcript is filed on Dec. 21, post-trial briefs could be filed by the end of January. Then, within 30 days reply briefs must be filed. That could bring us to the end of February.

After that the Judge will rule, but we don’t know how long he may take to arrive at a decision. The best thing to do is pray that Judge McKinley’s verdict will uphold the state law enacted by our legislature last spring.
March for Life

The March for Life in Washington DC is one of the world’s largest pro-life events! Despite the USA track record in abortion, we are a pro-life nation statistically. “ Slightly More Americans Regard Abortion as Morally Wrong Than as Acceptable.” Let’s March for Life! Last date to file to run for State Offices

Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 is the last day one can file to run for a state office that will include a Primary. The state offices are: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Auditor of Public Accounts, State Treasurer, and Commissioner of Agriculture.

Let’s remember HOW EXCITED we were to welcome Matt Bevin as our Governor! Remember, too, how close the races were-- such as for AG:
And remember, AG Andy Beshear declined to defend the pro-life laws passed by our strongly pro-life legislature. That is why you see the name “Adam Meier” as the defendant in the Dismemberment Trial. Atty. Meier (shown) is the head of Kentucky’s Cabinet for Health and Family Services which provided some of the attorneys on the team that defended Kentucky’s Dismemberment Law, HB 454. These attorneys are doing "double duty" while AG Beshear and his team of attorneys are not doing their job of defending the laws of our state.
