About the Educational Foundation

Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision, abortion has become one of the most contentious public issues in American life. Unfortunately the news media tends to focus on controversy, so people have understandably developed the impression that abortion is principally about divisive politics.

In 1979, the Right to Life Educational Foundation of Kentucky, Inc. was incorporated as a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt foundation. Its focus is on the humanity of the unborn child and the right to life. By educating the public about the conception and development of the human being, the intrinsic value of each human life and the constitutional right to life, we are able to engage in constructive dialogue that advances respect for all human life.

A variety of communications media help us reach the public and community leaders including television, radio, print media, on-line social networking, blogs, and in-person speaking venues at high schools, colleges, panel discussions and town-hall forums.

The YouTube playlist shown right features notable pro-life videos for any who cannot attend or be part of live events.

The more we learn, the more active we become in the pro-life movement. We hope the result will be the overturn of the Roe v Wade decision. States have specific roles to play, and Kentucky needs a strong Right to Life base.
