VOTE TOMORROW!

We trust our May Primary Election PAC Alert will help Kentuckians elect pro-life leaders tomorrow. Thank you for your support in this.
Kentucky Right to Life PAC leaders will be meeting in July at the National Right to Life Board meeting and convention and will continue to monitor the campaign heading into the November elections.

2016 Annual Banquet

Jeaneen Hampton, Lt. Governor of Kentucky, and Margie Montgomery at the Celebrate Life Banquet

Celebrate Life— and Learn!

The Right to Life of Louisville Celebration of Life Banquet welcomed 450+ guests, nearly one-fourth who won a gift basket. Our deep thanks to each gift giver and each person who bought a raffle ticket! It was our 43rd annual banquet, and some there had attended each one. Click to see the photo gallery!
This spring, the Schuhmann A. Montgomery, Sr. Volunteer of the Year Award went to octogenarian Frances Sasse who has assisted in the office and with needs for over four decades. The Right to Life Educational Foundation of Kentucky Award went to John DeFriend, founder of Billboards for Life. The Albert J. Schweitzer Humanitarian of the Year Award went to Laura Grijalba for heading up the sidewalk counseling and volunteers and 40 Days for Life in Louisville.
Our featured speaker, Brad Mattes, CEO of Life Issues Institute, spoke on Men and Abortion. Men who have been willing or unwillingly participants in abortion must say goodbye to their children, said Mattes. Their healing depends upon their recognition that a real son or daughter has died. Then they must forgive themselves and all who were involved.
Brad counsels emotionally scarred men and has found that those who cannot forgive themselves and recognize their child as a person whom they must acknowledge and part with, often suffer from unending guilt and anger. Their emotional wounds can result in self loathing, homosexual leanings and even suicide. We were encouraged to continue to stand against abortion and to become better educated in how it destroys the inner lives of all its victims.
