Patients' Rights in the BioMedical Age

What are the rights of patients? What are the current challenges to these rights? Find out from the experts. Our Annual State Conference has a major speaker already! Plan now to hear Rev. Tadeusz Pacholczyk, PhD, Director of Education for the National Catholic Bioethics Center.
Fr. Tad is a priest of the diocese of Fall River, Mass. As an undergraduate he earned degrees in philosophy, biochemistry, molecular cell biology, and chemistry, and did laboratory research on hormonal regulation of the immune response. He later earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Yale University, where he focused on cloning genes for neurotransmitter transporters which are expressed in the brain. He also worked for several years as a molecular biologist at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Margie Says—

The National Right to Life Convention in New Orleans, July 9-11, was quite a pro-life success from every angle. NRL President Carol Tobias complimented the hard work of grassroots pro-lifers assembled, who come together annually to exchange ideas, listen to leading experts on subjects ranging from reversing RU-486 abortions, identifying the real victims of the abortion war, listen to political strategists, protect unborn children from dismemberment abortions, lobbying, fundraising, etc.
We were treated to a marvelous in-person welcome from the Governor of Louisiana Bobby Jindal. During the General Sessions we heard exhilarating talks from Presidential Candidates Sen. Marco Rubio, Dr. Ben Carson, Gov. Rick Perry and Hon. Rick Santorum.
Our oratory contestant, Amelia Tarrence, advanced to the finals of the NRL Oratory Contest and won third place!
We have many new materials to share with you in the weeks ahead! Thank God for such dedicated pro-lifers, who came together from across the states – and even from Australia and Canada!
