New Year RESOLUTIONS

1. Be involved in all the KRLA EVENTS as much as you are able to. We need YOU.

THIS MONTH ADD YOUR SIGNATURE to the Annual Roe v Wade C-J Ad. March for Life in Washington, DC, with the KRLA! Join the Rally for Life in Louisville at noon on the Courthouse steps on Jan. 23! Contact your local affiliate to attend a Rally in your area.
The Frankfort Rally will be Feb. 8 in the Capitol Rotunda at 1 PM.

2. ATTENTION STUDENTS! Find out about National Right To Life Internships and the NRLC Academy for ProLife activities this coming summer. Enter the Right to Life Educational Foundation student contests to become eligible to travel to the national contests that are held at the NRLC Convention, June 29-July 1 in 2017 in Milwaukee. Learn more about the ESSAY, ORATORY, and VIDEO CONTESTS!

3. PRAY FOR and keep up with the Kentucky Legislative Session that runs 30 legislative days, beginning January 3. With our pro-life Governor and Republican majority in the Senate and House, we strongly hope to see some bills passed, in particular the Pain Capable bill.

4. Be involved in the push against Comprehensive Sex Ed in the JCPS schools. Other states are pushing back and the state and local media are publishing op-ed articles. Citizens can make the difference! (See previous KRLA eletters.)

Auld Acquaintance Remembered

Prolife friend With mourning and regret we note the passing on December 26 of Rose Mohr, shown right with her niece at the 2015 Annual Banquet. Rose volunteered in the KRLA office for too many years to count. Each volunteer brings a special presence and blessing to the staff, and we could not function without them.

We also lost in December 2016 a special pro-life friend from whom we learned so much, Dr. Jean Garton.
