Make a New Year's Resolution to Weigh In!

Express your opinions to your legislators

The Legislative Research Commission website posts the VOTING RECORDS of our elected officials. For example, already in 2015, a prolife Senate Bill 4 was introduced that would "Create a new section of KRS Chapter 311 to specify how the phrase individual, private setting shall be interpreted in informed consent situations."
This bill would require face to face counseling for teens and women seeking abortions, not an internet, impersonal posting of information. The effect would be to slow the process of getting an abortion, and give the female time to reflect and perhaps change her mind.
The voting record shows that 30 were in favor. It is interesting to note that Perry Clark who was prolife at one time, voted against this bill. He represents the 37th District, a southern area of Jefferson County. Please contact him to express your encouragement for him to be prolife in his votes. This is one battlefront of the War on Women!
On the KRLA.org Political Action page you will find links that take you to pages that give information on both his phone and email.
