PP in Louisville

The stark appearance of PP's new Louisville clinic is not welcoming and the surrounding area is even less so. A generator, front left, seems to assure no power outages.

Governor Bevin has stated, "They are openly and knowingly operating an unlicensed abortion facility in clear violation of the law. We will use the full force of the commonwealth to put a stop to this. There is no room in Kentucky for this kind of blatant disregard for proper legal procedure." (ref) Deficiencies in the initial agreement with the state are at issue. (ref) Read more about the dispute here. And here.

Louisville's Planned Parenthood clinic has opened a new center at 842 So. 7th St. Unlike the former center on Second St., this one does abortions— or— did? On their website, PP offers abortions, but prolife Governor Bevin has ordered the clinic to stop.
