Semper fidelis: THE MONITOR TEAM

Your KRLA staff often feels how impossible it is to thank all of the wonderful volunteers who contribute precious time and resources to help save lives, or at least to TRY. We know these efforts are made to honor God.
At year end, we THANK YOU for your dedication and support.
A yearend focus of special thanks is for the volunteers who continually monitor the EMW clinic on Market Street in Louisville. They sit in cars each day to note the number of women/teens entering in order to keep count of abortions performed. They also pray, try to speak with the women entering, and encourage them to consider alternatives. THANK YOU MONITOR TEAM!
The number entering the clinic for November was 182; the total number for 2015, to date, is 2,747. This gives us a close count on how many lives have been lost to abortion in Louisville. Some cars arriving are from out of state.
Each month we mail these "statistics" to a large list that includes churches so that pastors and others can know these facts, thanks to the MONITOR TEAM.

Looking ahead to 2016 (EARLY 2016!), here are some ways to be a voice for the voiceless

1. Add your name to the annual Memorial Signature Ad in the statewide edition of the Courier-Journal, that marks the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade court decision. This year the ad will run on Jan. 17.

Walk for Life

2. Sign up to travel to Washington, DC, with fellow Kentuckians, and to join the March for Life that will take place on Jan. 22. For information on the event, go here. Be sure to be part of the Kentucky Congressional Breakfast, too!

3. If you are in Metro Louisville on Jan. 22, please come to the Courthouse Rally at noon, and hear a brief program in remembrance of aborted babies. A public gathering is important to stir sentiment among those who have forgotten this issue.

4. Please join the Frankfort Rally for Life on Feb. 11 at 11 AM till noon to show our legislators WE WANT ACTION on our bills.

The photo shows the 2014 Walk for Life as prolifers passed the EMW abortion clinic in downtown Louisville. Again, thank you to all who participate in RTL events throughout the year!

Outreach to students

studentsYes, it is TRUE that Planned Parenthood sponsors a special series for students in the Jefferson Co. public schools. It's also true that each year KRLA speakers are invited to present a program for students at Jefferson Community College. Shown here are Margie and some of the JCC students at a class last month. Sad to report that Planned Parenthood has moved its Louisville clinic to new, larger facilities.
