Our keynoter is Dr. Matthew Harrison who performed the first abortion pill reversal in 2006.

Dr. Matthew HarrisonHe is a board-certified family medicine physician in Salisbury, NC. He serves as the Associate Medical Director for the abortion pill reversal program and has co-authored several peer-reviewed research journal articles about this revolutionary procedure.

Our featured speaker is Melissa Ohden, author of You Carried Me. In the memoir she describes her decade-long search to find and forgive her biological parents. Her personal story of love and redemption cuts through the debates surrounding a divisive issue to touch our common humanity. It highlights the complexity of the abortion issue and invites more understanding and compassion for every woman impacted by abortion.

Melissa founded the Abortion Survivors Network and speaks nationwide. With a master’s degree in social work, she has worked in the fields of substance abuse, mental health, domestic violence, and child welfare.

Dr. Matthew HarrisonThe National Catholic Register wrote: "Ohden speaks with authority, merited by many courageous battles described in the book. She is a voice for those wounded by abortion. She is a voice for abortion survivors attacked or silenced by abortion advocates unable to reconcile their support for the murderous procedure with the existence of living survivors. She is a voice of forgiveness for the sorrowful who regret their abortions or their complicity in abortions. And she is a voice for the unborn who have no voice.”
