Essay Contest

An annual program of the Right to Life Educational Foundation of Kentucky

Last spring, we were honored to receive 11 submissions for our Annual Essay Contest from students across the Commonwealth. All were either high school Seniors or Juniors. Judging was extremely challenging.

We're looking forward to the 2017 essay submissions. Information about the 2017 Contest is here. Enter the contest and submit your essay here.

Congratulations to the 2016 winners! Sydney Gregory, a Senior at Portland Christian, took first place. Our Runner Up is Katrina Ingalls, a Junior at Tapestry of Grace HomeSchool who won the Freshman-Sophomore contest last year. The Third Place Winner is Allison Edlin, a Senior at Christian Academy of Louisville. These students received $250, $150 and $100, respectively.

Congratulations to all entrants. Thank you for demonstrating that the pro-life future is in excellent hands.
